In the 2023 Spring semester, Crafting Care hosted two events with Pre-Dental ASDA, where members crocheted winter headbands for individuals battling chemotherapy.
Crafting Care also collaborated with UF Pre-Optometry Pupils to crochet cute eyeball keychains! Everyone had a lot of fun while improving their manual dexterities.
Crafting Care members had an amazing opportunity to help teach residents at HarborChase Assisted Living Facility how to crochet blanket quilts. We ultimately created a blanket out of the quilts!
Here are some of the stress balls we crocheted with UF AMSA for the Child Advocacy Center to help children with stress management! Here’s to many more collaborations to come!
Crafting Care came together to crochet this Harley Quinn inspired outfit for this year’s Big Sho’! And our board even strutted the runway for this How Bazar and Dion Dias hosted event. Thank you to all Crafting Care members who contributed, this wouldn’t have been possible without you all❤️🖤 .
Crafting Care collaborated with EMPRESS Interest group - an Asian Interest but not Asian exclusive interest group - to crochet stress-balls for the geriatric community out of recyclable plastic bags!
